- Senior Data Scientist

Mobility business unit is evolving how it creates value for its clients, and this role is at the heart of that change. You will be one of the senior people responsible for delivering data and AI solutions to clients. You'll take them from the initial idea, through development and deployment, to measuring and realising their value.

This is more than a data science role. Beyond building models, you will make sure solutions are reliable, coherent and production-ready, so they can be deployed and run with confidence at client sites. Project management stays with the project lead. You will be the technical and methodological reference on the project, and you'll have a real say in how it's delivered.

How you'll get started

You won't be doing this alone. You'll first join a dedicated innovation team, working alongside experienced practitioners who are building similar solutions. You'll be coached while you deliver your first projects, and you'll build the practices and confidence to lead on your own. After that, you'll move fully into the Mobility team as a senior delivery reference.

What We Are Looking For

• Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience; certifications in AI/ML or data science are an advantage

• 3+ years of experience in data science or machine learning roles

• Solid knowledge of Python and SQL, and experience with common ML frameworks (e.g. scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow)

• Proven experience taking solutions from prototype to production

• Experience with, or a strong drive to learn, the engineering side of delivery: cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP), MLOps and building reliable platforms

• Comfortable working directly with clients and taking ownership of what you deliver

• Strong problem-solving mindset and a hands-on approach

• Able to communicate complex insights clearly to business audiences and influence decisions

• Interest in shaping how solutions and projects are built, not just executing them

What you'll do

• Design, build and deploy data and AI solutions that address real client challenges in the Mobility space

• Make sure solutions are robust, scalable and ready for production, not just proofs of concept

• Contribute to defining project methodology, including scoping, success metrics, delivery phases and best practices for data and ML workflows

• Guide the project team on technical and methodological choices and give the project lead input on approach, priorities and risks

• Work closely with engineers, analysts, clients and business stakeholders to turn needs into practical solutions

• Track and communicate the value your solutions deliver

• Share knowledge with the team and help raise the bar on how we work with data and AI

Nice to have

• Experience in the mobility, transport or automotive sector

• Familiarity with generative AI and LLM-based solutions
